So far, I do not think that this is a successful effort. I hoped to bring together links from outside the circle of blogs that I normally read. I'll try it for another week. However, I think that any sort of collection of links should be a collective effort, and it should be given a blog of its own.

Do you think a group blog might work?
Here is what I am going to try. I have started up a new blog at Dictionary of Received Ideas (hopefully everyone can enjoy the self-deprecating title). I'll add just about anyone as a member. Post links to your own stuff or other people's posts. And we'll see how it works out. I have done nothing special to the format, so suggestions are open for that as well.
